Through the work of Pastor Jose Lopez and short-term mission teams from the United States and Canada, GEMA established both the Jewels of Christ School and New Song Church in Hainamosa. Pastor Lopez lives in the community with a family of five. He is giving himself full-time to GEMA and Hainamosa. Those on the Board of Directors of GEMA are enthusiastic to have a man of Jose's vision working in a community of such opportunity.
